Purpose This webinar will introduce you to tools to manage your own professional development by practising a skills prioritisation and gaining practice in how to set objectives, reflect on progress, and provide evidence about professional competencies. The Vitae Researcher Development Framework (RDF) will be used to identify prioritise and benchmark key competencies.

Contents What professional development is, and why it matters
How you can use the Vitae RDF in your career planning
How to use a professional development planning cycle, including:
– Action planning
– Reviewing progress
– Recording evidence
Target Participants 20 researchers at early career within around 10 years after getting Ph.D. degree of any discipline.
Communication skill in English is required.
